Custom Lightroom Presets

Started as a plattform for sharing moments (captured spontaneaously on your smartphone with crappy light and a “on-board” crappier filter) Instagram is more about “good looking” images now. Its community consists more and more of blogger, companies and photography enthuiasts, who are using it as a powerful marketing tool. Having a pretty “grid” became as important as providing good content if you want to run a succsesful Instagram account these days.

But whether you want your feed representing yourself and your brand or you are just an aesthete, having a clean and visual consistent feed is game changing. Using lightroom presets can help you .

Started as the second one (and becoming more and more the first one), I’ve developed six high quality and individual Lightroom presets until now. All of my presets were developed for my personal use and are designed for soft backlight (around sunset and sunrise), but they also work under other light conditions.

Azure Tones

Sky

Golden Hour

Moody Day

Pastel Light

Real Teal

note:

Sure, I know it’s impressive when you scroll through the presets and see how different the photos are looking. And I know it would be absolutely wonderful if it could be possible to do all the editing process with one click. But I want to be honest, that won’t happen. Not even me, as the developer, can edit my photos with one click by using my own presets (usually you have to adjust exposure and white balance in addition). For this reason I give some tipps here how to edit by using my presets.
